Zimele Savings Plan
Introduction

The Zimele Savings Plan is appropriate to persons with a short to medium term savings horizon. It's objective  is to preserve the principal amount, generate regular interest income and ensure savings are easily accessible when required. Funds are invested in short term instruments including Treasury bills, commercial paper, and other interest-earning assets.

Features
Returns are in the form of interest income which is credited to member’s accounts as it is earned. The rate of interest, which is also called the yield, is based on the average interest rate on the investments at any particular point in time. Interest is paid net of management fees and withholding tax, where applicable.
Fees

One can save either at regular intervals or lump sum amounts at any frequency. The only charge is a management fee of 2% per year.
